A girlfriend and I went and saw Spank! on Thursday – and it was so much fun! It is SUCH a good idea for a girls night! What’s funny is there actually were a couple guys in the audience. Poor guys were dragged there by their girlfriends. Although, maybe they were fans of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey?’ I suppose it’s possible.
I’ve read the books (well, I’ve read 1 1/2 out of 3) and if you’ve read the books, then you’ll really enjoy this play. It’s a hilarious take on the books. When you’re reading them you realize how stupid they are (or at least I hope you did), and this play really pokes fun at all those parts in the book that make you scratch your head. It’s a fun time!
